Guess I'll just uninstall + reinstall it all.

Anyway, I'm getting the same problem as well. I figure I'll just a bit. If lot's folks are having this problem perhaps they'll fix it quickly.

instead of a complete reinstall, try first copying gw.dat somewhere safe, then do the uninstall, then go back in and put the gw.dat back where it was originaly. it will save gigs worth of downloading if it works

If you plan on uninstalling don't forget to save your screenshot folder and template before ou delete the game folder.

Alright, I did what I said I would do, and reinstalled it all. Everything seems to work fine. The update must've messed something up during the download for the new update. Hope this helps anyone still having this problem.

right, ive done like you said kept the .dat file seperate and unistalled + reinstalled and now its fine cheers for the help
